About Us

Hi, we’re James & Carolynn Webb and Mauricio & Karina Aldana.

We are your hosts at Casa Camino Antiguo and we are so excited to have finally opened our pilgrim guesthouse here in Zalla. We began this project six years ago and now in 2024 it has come to fruition.

The Webbs are originally from England and Australia and the Aldanas from Guatemala. We have been living in Spain almost 10 years and in Basque Country about 6 years. We have very different backgrounds, but we all love hospitality and being in nature.

In 2021 we founded the Camino Antiguo Association which is a community group and local church. Find out more here. We also work with the European Christian Mission which is an international mission organisation.

We are so pleased to be able to open Casa Camino Antiguo and hope you enjoy our guesthouse as much as we have enjoyed creating a welcoming place for you to stay.
